The current exchange rates (19 Dec 2011) are: 48 baht/£ 40 baht/€ 31 baht/US$ 31 baht/Au$

It is best to change currency into baht in Thailand where commission rates are very low.

ATMs vary but most charge 150 baht per transaction and the usual small (about 3.5%) card commission which is taken as part of the exchange rate.
